This test includes screening and reporting for Boron. Boron is necessary to transport Calcium in plant tissues for higher yields and healthy plants. Boron deficiency is common in today’s soils and can manifest as sickly plants with poor fruiting, subject to diseases (such as Tomato End Rot) and insect attack. If your soil is Boron deficient, your plants will also be Calcium deficient and no amount of Calcium added will have any effect.
